Caldicot Town Centre Business Survey 2026
Caldicot Town Team is committed to supporting a vibrant, successful and thriving town centre. As part of this work, we are launching an updated Business Survey for 2026.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Caldicot Town Team regularly carried out surveys with local businesses to better understand the challenges and opportunities facing our town centre. The feedback received played a vital role in shaping our projects, events and initiatives, helping us deliver activities designed to benefit businesses, attract visitors and increase footfall throughout the town.
Our last survey, conducted in 2018, helped inform our plans and priorities for 2018/2019. Since then, the pandemic has had a significant impact on businesses, communities and the wider economy. Now that several years have passed, we want to gain a clearer understanding of how businesses are performing today. We are keen to hear about your experiences, including how your business has adapted since the pandemic, current levels of footfall, the challenges and opportunities you face, and your views on operating a business in Wales in the current economic climate.
The information gathered will help us identify ways in which we can better support both individual businesses and the wider town centre. This may include future projects, events, promotional campaigns, retail initiatives, funding opportunities and other activities designed to encourage growth and prosperity within Caldicot.
Your feedback is extremely valuable and will help shape the future direction of our work. By sharing your views, you will be helping us build a stronger, more resilient town centre for businesses, residents and visitors alike.
Please note that this survey is being carried out independently by Caldicot Town Team and is not conducted in partnership with Monmouthshire County Council or Caldicot Town Council.
All responses will be held independently by Caldicot Town Team. However, anonymised findings and data may be shared with relevant partners and organisations where appropriate to support future projects, funding applications and town centre improvement initiatives.
